Day 1 Flight from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji or Noumea. Meet & Greet, transfer to your hotel

Day 2 Transfer hotel/airport, flight Vila/Craig Cove (Ambrym). Transfer by boat to Solomon Bungalows, including all meals. Shared facilities.

Day 3 Day trek to the ash plain of Mt Marum. Spend a night under the stars and the basic camping equipment is provided for an overnight. Local guide and porters are provided. Meals included.

Day 4 Morning free to walk around the volcano. Return back to Solomon Douglas Bungalows.

Day 5 Boat transfer to airport. Flight to Norsup (Malekula). Transfer to RoseBay Bungalows. Night at Rosebay Bungalows, incl. breakfast/dinner.

Day 6 Visit the Small Namabs village with a demonstration of the custom dance. Transfer to airport. Flight to Vila/Tanna. Transfer to Tanna White Beach Bungalows with breakfast. Tour to Yasur Volcano during day/night time.

Day 7 Transfer to airport for flight back to Vila. Transfer to hotel. Private facilities.

Day 8 Final transfer to international airport. Flight to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji or Noumea.

The bungalows and guesthouses proposed by Island Tours are often family or community run and are built using local materials. Whilst some do not have electricity, telephones or hot water, but they are clean, attractively fitted to the natural environment and as peaceful as one can dream. They offer simple toilets and shower facilities. Most offer basic, plentiful meals prepared using local produce. Services and facilities are often basic and suited for adventure minded travelers. Tours mostly operated in open pick-ups.
