Tanna Island Overnight Tour
Day One *( All timings are approximate only and also varies with season.)
12.00 pm Flight departs Port Vila airport.
This scenic flight to Tanna with interactive commentary will include spectacular views of Port Vila and Harbour, South Efate and Erromango and its beautiful coastline. On approach to Whitegrass airport you will have a great view of the magnificent landscape of Tanna Island.
1.00 pm Aeroplane lands at Whitegrass airfield - Tanna.
Here you will be met by the friendly staff of Lenakel Cove Resort. You will be taken to the Lenakel Cove Resort for refreshments. Here you will have the opportunity relax and spend some time to yourself before the evening Volcano Safari.
From 1 p.m.to 3.30 pm depending on the tour operator.Volcano Safari departs.
You will be transferred by 4WD across the island to Mount Yasur. This 4WD trip gives you great opportunity to view local villages, native bush, great views and volcanic ash planes as you approach the Mountain.
You also at this stage have the opportunity to visit a custom village and experience first-hand Ni-Vanuatu traditional way of life.
*5.00 pm On reaching the top of the Volcano road a 10 minute walk will take you to the crater rim, where you will experience the awesome power of the worlds most accessible Volcano.
*6.30 pm Tour departs the Mountain for the Resort.
*8.00 pm Arrive at the Resort for a pre-ordered dinner. After your meal you are able to enjoy the location and facilities of the Resort for the evening.
Day Two
*7.30 am Breakfast at the Resort restaurant.
*9.00 am Transfer to Whitegrass airport.
*10.00 am Flight departs Whitegrass for Port Vila.
*11.00 am Flight arrives Port Vila.

The balance can be paid upon your arrival.

A driver will pick you up from the hotel on the arranged time and bring you to our main office for final documentation and issue of receipts and check in vouchers. This time of contact need to be finalized before you leave your country.
This must be done 48 to 24 hours before flight commences or the full cost will be charged to credit card.
CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES:
100% within 48 hours from the day the tour starts; within 7 days 75% And 50% beyond that
NOTE: The provincial governments charge a fee of 200vatu per passenger as a contribution toward upgrading the outer island small local airport.Each person needs 400 vatu.Please do not forget to bring this with you (They call it as provincial airport departure tax).
